Sensei John Yamamura (San Dan Shidoan)

Sensei Yamamura has been involved in Karate for over 20 years. John was born in Kumamoto Japan, December 28, 1954. He currently holds a third degree black belt and is a the Shidoin(Instructor). Sensei Yamamura is a provincial official (level B, and is certified by the National Coaching Certification Program (level 1) in Karate, Volleyball, and Gymnastics. Sensei Yamamura holds a Bachelor of Physical Education, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. He is currently employed as a Secondary Teacher.

Sensei David Wight (Nidan) - Vice Chair

Sensei Wight has been involved in Karate for over 15 years. David was born in Clinton, Ontario October 24, 1968. He currently holds a first degree black belt. Sensei Wight is currently registered by the National Coaching Certification Program (level 1) in theory and practical. Sensei Wight holds a Bachelor of Science (advanced Major) in Chemistry from Dalhousie University. He is also a Registered Technologist in Radiography, Ultrasound Technology, and Echocardiography. He currently is employed as a Sonographer/Echocardiographer.
